Knit Picks Hawthorne Fingering, 80% Superwash Fine Highland Wool, 20% Polyamide; 357 yds [Y m]/100 g): 3 skeins, Ashland Tonal Hand Painted
Needle
Size US 6 (4 mm) needles 60" (152 cm) circulars

Gauge
24 sts and 32 rows = 4" [10cm] in St st
24 sts and 34 rows = 4" [10cm] in plum blossom lace patt after blocking
Size
21” [53.5cm] drop and 147” [373.25 cm] bottom circumference.
Notions
Tapestry needle, stitch markers, small crochet hook for closing nupps, or applying beads (opt). If substituting beads for nupps: 207 size 6/0 beads.
Pattern Notes
· Worked flat from the top neck down
· Beads can be substituted for 7 st nupps
· While the use of st markers is up to the knitter, we suggest placing markers between sts 6 & 7, and 7 & 8 in the set-up row to separate the right and left sides of the shawl.
· IMPORTANT: When stitch counts are provided, 7 stitch nupps are counted as 1 st.
